Having Relationship Issues? This is a must Read!

Structuring My Relationships under God’s Divine Order
Written by Kevin A. Hall (03.18.17)

The world and the devil fights against God’s Kingdom Order. If you are having trouble with your marriage, with your children, with the people in your church, with the boss, with your co-workers then this applies to you.

Consider this. Is my life structured under God’s Kingdom Order?
As a Pastor, Bishop, Teacher, are you teaching this to your people? The main responsibility of the Elder/Bishop/Pastor is to be a faithful overseer (shepherd), guarding the flock, teaching them the Word of God (encouraging godliness) and protecting that which is under their care by “confronting and rebuking sin” while guarding against error. How do we know it’s error? Does it line up with God’s Word? Not man’s word. Not just what the preacher says… Check to see if he or she is speaking truth!  How about at home? Are you living under God's Kingdom Order?
The Good News Is... The Bible has provided us with some advice to live a fulfilled life.

Qualities of a Sound Church. It also defines a Healthy Family (Titus 2)

Men:
·         We should be SOBER (not given to strong drink) – Don’t be a drunkard. You Ruin Your life!
·         We should be REVERENT – Dignified, sensible, honoring God
·         We should SOUND in LOVE, FAITH & PATIENCE – Healthy and strong in these areas (Go to church. Be a leader. Be patient with our wives and kids. We do not lay hands on our own blood.
·         We should remain CHASTE if we are unmarried – NO FORNICATION! NO CHEATING!

Young Men:
·         We too should be SOBER – Act sensibly young man! Work hard for what you want. Don’t envy other people stuff. Don’t kill for what is not yours.
·         We should DO GOOD
·         We should have SOUND SPEECH – Be blameless. People should not say bad things about you
·         We should be OBEDIENT – Be a good listener. Stay committed
·         We should be Men of Integrity – Be of good character
·         We should be CHASTE – Not married yet? Keep yourself together! NO FORNICATION!

What about the Women and Young Women?
Women
·         Women should be REVERENT – Be dignified in behavior (dress, speech, demeanor)
·         Women should NOT be SLANDERERS – Do you use your mouth to discredit others? This is considered satanic. To be a slanderer is lumped in with behaviors associated with those who refused to acknowledge God, so He gave them over to themselves and the devil:
Romans 1: 28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant…

·         Women should not be DRUNKARDS - You Ruin Your Life!
·         Women should be CHASTE if unmarried – Abstain! If Married, NO FORNICATION! NO        CHEATING!
·         Women should teach GOOD things:
o   Teach Young women how to love their husbands
o   Teach young women how to love their children
o   Teach Young Women how to be DISCREET – Live modestly
o   Teach Young Women how to be obedient to their husbands

EMPLOYER/EMPLOYEE
·         Do the RIGHT THING – Serve each other well. Work as if you are doing it for God (well pleasing)
·         Don’t answer back
·         Don’t Steal
·         Show concern for the community and the helpless
·         Be concerned about justice and fairness

This is an extensive list. But imagine an environment in which all involved practiced these principles. What a change we would see in our society and our churches. You can do this! Get It In Order!

God Bless!
