I savor moments like these, when you know you are living in
a dream. The picture to the left is myself, praying in one of the church offices overlooking the parking lot, facing a multicultural community of Inverrary/Lauderhill. Moments after I penned the last
paragraph of my message for Sunday, I moved to the kitchen counter, stood by
the sink for a moment, feeling a bit overwhelmed but in a good
way. In the stillness of the early morning I declared, “Thank you Jesus!” The dream has become a reality. Once, a dream, now we are living it; and it feels like a nonstop movement toward an intended
purpose. Wow! Who would think we'd be doing this a year ago? Everything starts as a dream; God's providence effects the reality. "And God saw that it was GOOD" (Gen. 1:10).
It’s been eight months since we started our church
(Transformation Ministries of Florida). I had the same overwhelming feeling
then…"Lord, we are responding to your call." We started in a hotel (thank you Hampton Inn & Christina). The night before we launched I
recall that feeling, walking between the empty chairs.
Will they come? Who will come? What will you do? Eight months later, here we are. In our own building. And this is just another step in the journey. “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Mat. 24:14); This is what You said Lord. The call was clear – “To the nations.” My God! And to think that call is a reality through the effort of this team of committed believers who are without a doubt empowered by the Holy Spirit.

On behalf of the entire team, a multi-cultural team at that (Bahamians, Jamaicans, Americans, Haitians), I am grateful for all who contributed to the first few
months of making the dream a reality. God has called you for such a time as this.
I am also grateful for those who will make this next phase a reality. God does
not grant a Vision without Provision.
